Product Specifications
- No-Creep rolls to center the jar(s) on the
rollers. Drive roll is convex and free spinning roll is concave
to prevent containers from migrating towards the end of the rollers.
- Roll surfaces in contact with grinding jars
are conductive neoprene to bleed off static electricity generated
by the rotating jars. In addition to being wear resistant, neoprene
is resistant to oil based materials and most solvents and chemicals
that may come in contact the rollers
- Welded steel frames provide a rugged base and
support for this machine. Vibration absorbing feet are mounted
to the base of this machine to minimize any disturbance to other
equipment that may be mounted on the same lab bench.
- Spacing between the rollers can be easily and
quickly set in any of three positions to accommodate a wide variety
of jar diameters. Center to center distances between the rollers
can be set at 2-7/8�, 5-1/4� or 7-5/8�.
- Drive arrangement provides a speed range of
approximately 20 to 300 r.p.m. on the 2 diameter rollers. Speed
adjustment is made by turning a dial at the front of the machine.
Standard electrical service for this machine is 110V, single phase,
50/60 hertz. A standard outlet plug and cord is provided with
the machine. [Note: Roll speeds for equipment designed
to be used in a hazardous environment (explosion-proof) may be
different. Please consult with our sales staff to discuss this
option]

Optional items
available for our unitized jar mills include explosion-proof
motor with NEMA 7-9 controls, 230/460V, 3 phase motors, revolution counter,
cycle timer and sound deadening enclosures.
